Investment Casting Steps:

1.Pattern Making: Inject wax into a metal mold to create a replica of the part.

2.Assembly: Attach multiple wax patterns to a central sprue to form a cluster.

3.Shell Building: Repeatedly coat the wax cluster in a ceramic slurry and sand to build a thick, hard mold.

4.Dewaxing: Use steam or heat to melt out the wax, leaving a hollow ceramic shell.

5.Firing: High-temperature furnace treatment to strengthen the shell and prepare it for metal.

6.Pouring: Molten metal is poured into the pre-heated ceramic mold.

7.Cooling & Knock-out: After solidification, the ceramic shell is broken away.

8.Cut-off: Individual castings are separated from the sprue.

9.Finishing: Parts are cleaned (e.g., shot blasted) and ground to meet specifications.

10.Inspection: Final quality control checks are performed
